Babynest

You need:

• Fabric
  without ruffles: two pieces of 80 cm x 110 cm (32" x 44")
  with ruffles: one piece of 220 cm x 140 cm (87" x 55")
• Rolled wadding (batting) labeled "150g". 2 pieces of approx. 40 cm x 75 cm (16" x 29").
• Fiber filling, 1-1.5 kg
• Cord or ribbon, approx. 3m (118")

You will also need: Tape measure, Sewing pins/clips, fabric scissors, matching sewing thread, iron, marking pen with disappearing ink.

The project is sewn on a regular sewing machine .

The babynest is sewn from two pieces of fabric.

You can choose to use different fabric for the inside and outside or have the same, and both woven and knitted fabric will work (see video below on how to choose fabric for your Babynest).

The babynest is pulled together with a cord or ribbon. Choose what you think suits your fabric best.

The measurements of the finished Babynest is approx. 85 cm x 50 cm (34" x 20") on the outside. The bottom is approx. 65 cm x 35 cm (26" x 14") and the circumference of the edges is approx. 30 cm (12").
