Ekis – Babygym Rattle

You need:

• Woven fabric in 3 different colors. For the acorn you need two pieces of each color and for the leaves 4 pieces. All pieces should be approx. 10 x 15 cm.
• Filling wadding, approx. 50g
• A piece of ribbon (about 1 cm wide and 16 cm long) that matches the oak leaves. You can sew one yourself or buy ready-made.
• A wooden ring
• A rattle (optional)

Other things that are good to have: K button pins/sewing clips, fabric scissors, matching sewing thread, friction pen, iron.

Sewn with ordinary sewing machine .
This project is perfect for making from leftover materials .

This is a baby gym rattle model larger with the shape of an acorn. The fabrics here can be mixed and matched to make a collection of different acorns to hang in the baby gym, making this a perfect project to get rid of your leftover fabrics.

By poking rattles into the acorns, they become even more interesting for the baby.

The acorn and oak leaves are sewn together with ribbon and the leaves are then tied around a wooden ring to be hung up in the baby gym.

The finished acorns will be about X cm high (without the wooden ring).
